Since I’ve made the switch I cannot say enough about it’s benefits,
but at the same time, I understand that to many it still seems
unattainable and even undesirable. If you’d like to make the switch,
or at least incorporate raw foods more often in your diet, the task
of learning something new and changing habits is a challenge. But
don’t be fooled into telling yourself it’s too complicated or too much
work! Once you get rolling, you’ll wonder how you ever had this
misconception. The other big obstacle is the picture of yourself
living like a rabbit, always hungry and constantly grazing on
tasteless greens. Believe me, you can feel more fulfilled by a raw
diet than on the typical diet today, not just nutritionally, but taste
wise as well.
One of the best ways I’ve found to get over these mental road blocks
is to simply pick up a cookbook and get motivated by what you read.
When I was starting out, I was fascinated by the information on
enzymes and the chemical processes in my body, but the simple act of
reading and seeing vibrant, colorful pictures, and then trying a
recipe was the real, tangible reason I was able to get into the raw
food habit and the reason I stick to it and never feel deprived.

stunning colors. Just flipping through one of her books will motivate
you to try a raw food recipe if not jump into the raw food lifestyle.
